Honestly I think external humerus might be safer AND cheaper, just my personal opinion. I did a lot of digging around in the past and I've never heard of a doctor doing internal humerus so this might be a new thing. I'm very surprised that you said Dr Paley only does internal humerus which is the only thing that makes me question myself.

Seems like there are far more doctors who has experience doing externals on Humerus and most of the research that says Humerus is the safest limb to lengthen is probably only counting the procedures done on Externals.

I agree with your concerns on potential knee pain. Ideally I'd like to do externals on both my Tibia and Humerus as well. It's cheaper and probably safer. I'm going to get tattoos to cover the scars anyway so it's literally a non-issue for me. The only reason I would ever consider internal nails is if I can't do both external Tibia and Humerus at the same time.

that day is not so far when we will forearm lenghtening. forearms looks great when they are bigger and longer
