I don't know what to do if it isnt... i'm making the right choice... right? lon tibias. Sorry im just ranting about my inner monologue because i dont know where else to post about this surgery without being judged harshly. I'm so, so done being being 5'5, it just hurts me to accept this height for the rest of my life. I only can afford LON, can anyone give some advice to prepare for this? I'm not expecting overwhelming positive impact, i just want to feel normal, at the same level as others, and looked down by most. This is the only way i can say i feel like a fully matured man.

I'm 5 foot 3 and I refuse to be this height for the rest of my life. Think about how you'll feel 90 days, 180 days, 1 year from now and use that for motivation. Remember that even a 1cm increase in height results in major improvements in confidence. Best of luck!

Then use that very frustration as the motivation behind doing this.
Your mindset is right. We all want to just feel normal. And take my word for it as I'm going through the process now. It is a new life at +2 inches. And it only gets better from here on.

Start preparing yourself. Work on what you can control now. Go to the gym and start becoming  a beast. Study and try to become the best in your career field. Work on yourself and ... Book the surgery knowing that is gonna be a painful and tiring process, but as you said, 180 days from now it'll all be over. (Months of pain vs decades/lifetime of mental struggle being a midget). F....g go for it.

(If you're in your early 20s... Do yourself a favour, save some more money and do internals even if you have to wait another year or 2... Do a G-nail or a Betzbone man. LON is quite brutal on the femur. And life only really begins at 30s ;-) ).

All the best

I’m not sure your proportions but my advice is get up to 5’8, that’s quite a a large improvement of course. If you can only do one surgery it will make your proportions a bit off but who cares. (Femur versus tibia proportion). From there develop a workout routine and you will be fine. If you’re just looking for normal you don’t even need a workout routine after.

I was 5'5 and now 5'8. Glad that I did the surgery. This surgery is not risk free and a lot of pain while lengthening but worth it. My only advice is to find a reputable doctor because of all the risks
