why are europeans genes so tall? 185 cm is considered very tall in china too. at 190 cm. no one wants to date you anymore
Europeans genes are not so tall
south europeans are reputed to be small (Italian, Spaniard, etc)
and Arab people and people from DOM TOM have a similar height
the greatest are Tusti in Rwanda (see Sonia Rolland or Stromae)

Interesting...I'm from Austria and I've had totally different experiences than you in many places...what I see mostly is a mix from tall, medium and short guys, and 1 meters 85 is definitely not the average height...it's above average in the places I live in.
I'm studying right now at a highly racially diverse school here in the U.S. My height Neurosis/Disphoria was borderline uncontrolled as it was tragically affecting my life before I went there. Once I got around in that school and walked with thousands of other people man did it improve drastically.
Guys of all shapes and sizes. I've seen some gigantic people as much as I've seen some small people in both males and especially females (no they weren't actually affected by achondopasia). I really do see just as many people below average as I do above it. Made me realize a lot about life.

I think it has to do with the fact that I am currently studying at one of the most ''prestigious'' private university in Germany. All students are more or less wealthy and are considered to be ''socially favored'' so to say. This has something to do with the principle that in the US the Fortune 500 companies CEOs average 183 and 58% are taller than 183. I would say the same is valid for the situation in which I am right now.
