My parent's are helping me move back home tomorrow so that I can put all my income toward saving up for leg-lengthening surgery 

I should be able to save up close to 1k USD per week until I can finally get the surgery I can't believe this is finally going to become a reality!

I am 176cm tall (dead average), but am going to lengthen 6cm's on my tibia's and 6cm's on my femurs to get to 188cm (6 foot 2).

I am going to try freelance in my spare time to save up even faster!

By midyear I should be under way

you're sacrificing athelticism for few inches when you're already of good height?
the benefits from this surgery may not be worth it in your case.
Please reconsider. Considering you're moving back home i guess you're in ur twenties, dont waste your good health and the opportunities it brings.

Save money if you want, but dont spend it on LL. You need mental help

You have such a loser mindset. If hes dream is to be 6’2 or it is something he want to have in his life why he should not do it? Do you understand that you are beta male who kills other people dreams?

Hi Tiny,

I am going to lengthen at a safe pace and keep the maximum lengthening of each bone to very safe limits (6cm each).

I don't believe that much if any athleticism is lost if you do things safely.

You are correct that I am in my 20's After a year of lengthening and recovery I should have lot's of athletic years ahead of me

I agree that it is nice to be starting out at an average height. I do have friends that are shorter than average, and one that is much shorter, and it is sad the effect that it can have on their lives. Heightism is a very real and sad cultural issue that needs to change.

But I also have friends that are taller than me, and one friend around 6'5", and I can say with certainty that there are many benefits to being above average as well.

Being above 6 foot is a definite positive in the dating game, and management and CEO jobs are dominated by people above 6 feet:

There is indeed a risk involved. But I am going to be as safe as I can and not push any limits. Hopefully I can come out of the other side with not much if any negative impact, but a whole lot of positive from standing a bit taller than almost everyone else

Yes. It is my dream to be tall again

I was 5'8" before I was 13 years old. I hit puberty and had my growth spurt early, so I spent a few years being the tallest or second tallest in my friend groups. It was awesome. People treat you differently when you're tall.

But then I completely stopped growing and almost everyone caught up and I just faded into the crowd. Literally after I turned 13 I only grew 2 more cm's.

I would like to experience what it is like to be one of the tallest in the room again

At 173cm and still growing you're close to my height too! You could do the same thing

Hey, 6 cm is not a safe limit for the tibias. 6 cm lengthening in femurs also mean you will be about 5 cm taller.

Yeah i may do ll but its pretty sure that i grow naturally 180cm+ because i am on growth spurt right now.

This is bad. And now people who are actually 6'2'' like me will have to get LL just to get to 6'4'' so I can outcompete you again. *sigh* oh well, sucks that I have to shell out 50 grand, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

(naturally)yea injecting 70ius of gh is certainly something that occurs naturally.You'll be dead by 30 choosing to take the path you're currently on.Also you'd probably reach 180cms plus if you took nothing,considering your familys heights.And don't take this as hate i'm just trying to help.
