I dont see this forum much, trying to get over Height Neurosis. However, i will try my best to answer your questions when ever possible.
I am quite late, nevertheless, A special Thanks to @Medium Drink Of Water & @bluebarbie For all your advice. There are few others but since my inbox gets deleted after every few months, i dont remember their names.
These are the links to my previous Diaries.

(Should i get achilles tendon lengthened ?)
(Earlier, Doctor recommended Plating instead of Nailing .However,Later he decided to carry on with Nailing since i had no deep Bone Infection)Opening the Patella tendon some times exposes the Pin site Bacteria to the deep bone during Nailing.

(Can tibial lengthening be done to 10cm)
Quote from: Dishant on June 06, 2016, 11:09:08 AMWhen it is possible for a person to walk normally after LL lon or latn surgery after doing 6cm tibia?
The same as without LON or LATN. These nails are just "cosmetic", they don't improve your healing rate. Their only advantage is, that you don't need to wear a ilizarov device after the lengthening anymore.
You will still need to walk with crutches and your bone will take as long to heal as if you were keeping the ilizarov device on.
@Dishant- Each body reacts in a different manner. However, u can Walk ( Slowly ) within a month if you Lengthen your Achilles Tendon ( Its very Painful but will remove Ballerina ) & your Bone growth is Good.
@Cheez- You need to walk with crutches, only for 2 Weeks after the Final Surgery.Atleast , i did that since my Quad muscles were very weak to hold my knees Striaght & Achilles Pain was Excruciating.
