You can stoop to 0.49 without no problem. 0.50 is ok. 0.51 is excellent. But it's not such a big deal though. I have a SH of 90cm, which i'll stretch and probably have around 91cms. And my ratio would be 0.491. Keep it in mind that I'm skinny without any fat mass on my butt.

edit: If i go to gym and kinda bulk up, it'll probably add another 1cms at least. My ratio would be 0.497, I'f im lucky enough to get the other 0.5 from somewhere else like stretching or maybe bulking gives me 1.5 instead of 1, i'd have the 0.50 ratio which is not even necessary to think about.

i would say between 0.5-0.52 aiming closer to  0.50 would be more aesthetic, but once you move into .49 territory it starts to look off

It doesn't tbh, nobody will seriously notice your sitting height LOL!
just by 1cm, you might get into the 0.49 zone or 0.50. just 1 or 1.5 cm. Who would even argue about it irl? Nobody for real.

I mean, I'm sort of a proportion freak but even I've started not to give a damn about SH if you don't have it around 85cm or anything. Above 90cms is good for 180-185 range.

Best to judge visually by seeing patients who did specific amounts with specific stats, getting fixated on a ratio like 0.5 is lame unless you actually have a feel of what it actually looks like. I once sat on a flat staircase with a guy who was 174 cm who was actually comfortably shorter than me even with reasonable posture, it didn't strike me as looking weird, meanwhile I also know a guy who is 5'1" taller than me sitting, SH has a lot of variation.

i use sitting height because it is easier to  measure sitting height without xrays. because measuring leg length is too innacurate without xrays

Measuring sitting height is virtually always inaccurate unless you have a stadiometer from my own experience but turns out even the stadiometer I have has an error of few mm so I'm not even sure of my sitting heigh

Easier but room for error is far too high. Dude I started out thinking I had something like an 83 cm siting height. Measuring from your hip line is really the easiest.

Well, you are right but sitting height is not CERTAIN!

The amount of fat mass increases your sitting height!
Sitting height is only accurate for people who are skinny like me! I've 90cm of sitting height while being skinny af which I can even get few more cms.

I just measured, if i stretch my legs forwards and measure it, 90cm
If i sit cross-legged (without sitting on my feet) it's around 91.5-92 cm.

and the time is 02.42. I think it might be even more in the morning by 0.5 cms.
