If OP or anyone else looking at this forum wants to talk about leg shortening, please send me a message.

I am a 6ft4.5 man, who has been thinking about this forever, with extremely disproportionately long legs. My torsoe is the same height as my two brothers who are 5ft10 and 5ft11

I have found that almost all doctors who advertise for leg lengthening have responded to me to say they do it, but I would prefer to use an orthopaedic surgeon in my home city (London), who has tonnes of experience doing shortening surgeries for leg legthening discrepancy.

Quote from: limewalk on November 22, 2019, 12:07:59 PMFor an average woman being 5'11 is very similar in situation to being a short guy.

No way you are comparing a short guy's life with a tall woman's, this is plain ridiculous

Tall women are desired, short men are despised, period.

Tall women are not as desired as average ones or even shorter ones in many occasions but still almost no man would rejectna 5.11 woman for her height. After all she is not abnormally tall.
On the other hand, the vast majority of women will reject a man less than 5.7 and about 50% will reject a man less than 5.9-10 only for his height. Ao yes, being a short man is way worse.
That said, I find it stupid to do such a surgery and give 30k to reduce your height. At 5.11 a woman can easily look good if age has a nice and fit body. If we talked for 6+ feet then maybe leg shortening would have some benefits, but not at 5.11.

Have you decided which surgeon you’ll trust for the femur‑shortening yet, or are you still weighing your options?
