hi yall, for those who used precise partial weight bearing, how much of a difference in pain and overall comfort was improved while going from 1mm to 0.75mm? thinking of doing this throughout whole lengthening currently 2.6cm

I finished lengthening with precise 5 weeks ago. I noticed less muscle tightness and I slept better after slowing down. Hope it helps.

Yes, slowing down lengthening from 1.0mm to 0.75mm daily helped deal with muscle tightness. I slowed down around 5cm. You should talk with your doctor about slowing down, if you feel you need to.

what was the significance of the slowing though? morning stiffness and aching pain is so bad 7-8/10; wondering and hoping for 3-4 pain/stiffness level after constant 0.75mm; time is not an issue and i dont mind it taking a bit longer. i cant sleep nor can i get any work done secondary to lost sleep. how significant was it for you guys?

It was pretty significant to slow down 25%. Muscle tightness led to muscle pain, so slowing down helped.

I wouldn't call what I felt muscle pain, more like a discomfort that kept me from sleeping. For me there wasn't a big difference in discomfort when slowing down. However, it helps greatly with my muscle tightness.

Slowing from 1 to 0.75 changed everything from me. I went from constant discomfort after lengthening  to almost no pain whatsoever.

update: guys what a significant difference after just 1 day of 0.75mm, my pain has significantly went down from 7-8 to 3-4 and discomfort 8/10 to 2-3/10, tightness isn’t as bad either. However the strange thing is that I slept for 4 hours last night but not because I was awaken but because I felt like I slept for 7-8 hours and was fully awake which is also a first. May be due to my body not working overtime on that last 0.25mm. Most likely will stay here at 0.75 for a while.

That's great to hear !
I always wondered what would have been the difference while lengthening and this gave a clear idea .
I would rather lengthen 2 weeks more in total but at 0.75 , especially towards the end , then get the lengthening done asap but suffer and maybe delay my muscle recovery as well !
Great topic
