In my environment everything below 180 is short, 180-190 is average and everything taller than 190 is tall.

well specifically I was stating it is in the category where girls wish you were taller, but your not considered short. the real discrimination becomes exponentially worse under 5"7, iv never been called short.

2.5 inches under average it gets worse  -----    average no discrimination  ------  2.5 inches above average, going above this gives diminishing returns.

ie. for an average of 5"9.5 like in America. the corresponding values are (5"7 ----- 5"9.5 ------ 6"0)

basically girls don't think your average at 1 height(and normal) and then think 1cm lower you are worthless and short.

there is a category between average and short.

this category is the border separating exponential decline in value due to height.

this category is the category of it would be nice if you are taller.

One of my best friends is 171 and he always gets reminded that he's the short one among our group of friends.

yea seriously. don't get me wrong, I can see it(them wanting a guy who is taller ie 6"0 preferable) in a subset of the girls I meet, but iv never been called short.

in fact people have blatantly come up to my face to tell me "you know your not short, but it would be nice if you were taller"

what is the average in your country itsalittle to short,

don't get me wrong at 5"7 you still get discrimination.
