Adventure goes on. I did tibias 3 days ago, that's 8 months and 1 week after my femurs surgery.
Precise nail too.
It was different location and new nurses, they put vibration cuffs on my tibia (that's what usually is done for femurs). They did it right after the surgery when I woke up, pain jumped up quickly.
Could you imagine, you just had broken tibias and then in less than 1 hour you got vibration cuffs that were squizing your legs there. Had to use 3 moprhine pills that day. With femurs I used tylenol mostly.
I asked to take them off and used then only at night (gently, they were loose).
Then Dr.G said that nurses were not suppose to do that. It looks like I was the 1st tibia patient for them and they were not well experienced with LL patients like me.
Came back home by Uber on 2nd day. Pain decreased.
Right now everything is fine, not much pain, i move around apartment with walker. Similar to my femurs adventure.
Will probably post again when I'll be around 3 cm taller.

Decided to do quick update, everything is going well.
Day 4 Tylenol (painkiller) was lowered to 2 pills per day - 1 when I wake up, 1 before I go to sleep.
Day 8 -  Tylenol stopped. I don't feel pain in general and don't want to feed my body with unnecessary pills.

I can sleep on the side (with femurs it was not really possible at this period of time)
Sleeping is fine but it's too hot these days in Montreal and it effects the quality of sleeping.
Swelling is almost gone, jut few little spots. I use ice on the ankle, it's also great option to cool your body with this weather.

Walking with walker is no problem at all, same as with femurs. This time I should have 10.7mm nail in tibia.
Before the surgery I tried to keep my weight low, just don't overeat. So I'm around 63kg, that was my strategy, should be easier with walking and weight bearing.

Nothing else to add, I'll probably go for maximum 7 cm that Dr.G is allowing. With these nails price increase plus some other organizational things I deciced to go full! "My Evolution" regained his athletisism and I will.

This is my interview with Cyborg4Life that I did after I consolidated with femurs.
I'll do same one with tibia after consolidation.
If anyone is interested -

So for tibia, I use sometimes tylenol 1-2 pills before I go to sleep as right leg is still hurts from time to time especially if I walk a lot or use slant board often.
Reaching 1cm tomorrow.
Tibia is slower healing and lengthening goes at 0.75mm per day, that's little bit annoying as I want it to be done faster.

I'm still undecided if I want to do 7cm on tibia full that's max that Dr. Gdalevitch will allow.
I want to keep at least 75 percent of athletism and lenghten as much as possible because of time, work out and price that you pay for this surgery.
So I'm doubting right now between 5.5cm min and 7cm max.

If anyone as any data or other patients experience then feel free to comment here.
The reality is that no one can tell me for sure but there are people who recovered well with 7cm and some information that I found says that 5cm is safe and I'll keep athletism with that.

You didn't have any problems with Nail Shortages or a waiting list to get tibia's? I have contacted Dr. G since Jan, and they keep telling me they cannot confirm a surgery date because they don't have nails.

Hey, man...
You didnt tell how much you got on femurs finally, you only said you want 8.2 cm.
Its weird that doctor G allows 7 cm on tibias, because only 5 cm is safe... everybody knows that.

Anyways, i have an urgent problem and i sent you a PM hoping you want to help me...
Thank you
