Limb lengthening impacting study schedules

Mom expects me to take the LSAT sometime next year, but I don’t think I’ll be prepared due to undergoing limb lengthening this fall and not being able to study effectively right now. What should I do? While she is unaware of my limb lengthening procedure, she will realize once I return home in the winter.
