Hello,
has anyone decided to do this surgery under regional anesthesia instead of general anesthesia? I'm thinking about doing one leg at a time while under regional anesthesia in combination with a sedative pill.
What's ur opinion on that?
western docs use general anesthesia only
in India many docs use regional.
have you consulted with any doc to ask abt this?
Other than the risk of not waking up, general is better. There are some bad side effects possible from regional anesthesia.

What side effects?
Many western doctors do it. The risks are comparable. Regional gives you the benefit of being able to provide pain relief for longer after the op and there is no post op nausea.
Paley (best doc in whole world) does he offers regional as option?
Sorry this is ridiculous. Do you know about which surgery we are Talking about. They are going to broke your legs and hanmer a nail into your bone!! Even if you dont feel anything you dont want to see and hear all or those things…
And what is if any smaller/bigger complications accurs? Sorry but no doc with a clean mind would do this to his patients.
regional + sleeping pills bro no one is forcing u to watch the surgery
with general anesthasis you should not eat for 12 hour before surgery.But for spinal you can.
regional looks like better to me. Not sure why its not used in all country for this surgery
