The patients I’ve met were mostly states and Canada. The first week felt terrible, I would never go through that pain again. But now since the balls rolling I have to go with it, already spent the money, booked the airbnbs, went through with the surgery, etc
The patients with tibias done have probably half the difficulty. I’m day 17 post op and it feels like it’s been 2 months. Most of them stay at BOF hotel in atesehir

I thought there would be only a few people too but it’s nearly like an assembly line lol, the doctor seems to be in the operating room every single day

It doesn’t go through soft tissue so less pain, also not painful when taking bowel movement, much easier to sleep, etc, only bad thing is tibia is 5-6cm maximum safely

Hi dear,

I did my surgery with Halil Buldu last year and I have had a great experience. I am planning a removal surgery this summer and I came back to the blog for info. I have always intended to write about my experience and describe physio or even do a youtube video, but, never came to it. However, as I saw that my favorite Doctor is being blamed for no reason I could not stop myself but to respond.

I do not understand why there is so much controversy regarding Dr. Buldu. It's been 10-11 months since my surgery and I text him one or twice a month and he has been incredibly supportive and responsive. I visited him in April this year and he did not even charge me for the visit, he had many clients from different countries and he definitely does not need any marketing. The person who is talking/advertising him on the platform is probably an agent, I definitely don't think that Buldu is trying to market himself. He is incredibly hardworking.

Regarding the patients, there is so much doctor blaming, whereas we need to in the first place do our own research and recheck all the facts and definitely do a lot of physio. I was double-checking everything because I wanted to be extra careful and I took my physio very seriously.

Some doctors do the surgery and then the patient leaves to his/her country and even though they were told not to do more than 8 cm the patient sometimes comes back with 12 cm and 0 physio, and then the Doctor is being blamed. That's not fair. I have heard these stories from my physiotherapist in Istanbul.

For myself, I was always the one reaching out to my Doctor and asking and following up on everything. Getting the surgery done is the easiest part, the hardest is the physio and recovery and each patient should take care of that.

if you guys have any questions please feel free to ask me. i will write the response or maybe even do a youtube video, i can definitely share my x-rays.
