Hey man
Are you still here in Mumbai?
I’m based in Mumbai only and even came for a consultation at Parihar!
I’m planning on lon tibia with him mid year!
Also, how has the recovery been for you?
Are you done with lengthening and gone back?
We can catch up here maybe if you’d  like, that would be great!

Had my removal surgery a few days ago, reached 5.3 cm and I’m going back in 2 days back to my home , everything went fine and now I need to focus on recovery and getting back to walking again.
I won’t update much because I rather focus on myself and also there isn’t much to talk about, it’s painful, hard and mentally exhausting procedure but the gain is for life..
That’s it friends I will try to update in a few months about my recovery

Congrats man! Can you shed a bit more light on your decision to stop at 5.3 cm? Could you have gone further to 6 or even 7cm?

Well no, as much as I've heard, he never intended to go beyond 5.5 cms and his tibia: femur ratio is 0.9 which is a bit even above the far value of normal average ratio, he still retains most of his ankle functions, now what remains is his consolidation and regaining most of his pre surgery athletic abilities, wish him all the best and please, keep posting to this pretty much dead forum about your recovery phase, if you can, all the very best.

I could go on as dr parihar was satisfied from my condition and pt ,I decided not.
Not optimal and can cause complication going above 5 and you absolutely feel the tightness in your tendons and skin ,soft tissues and nerves (and muscles of course).
I want to get good enough recovery to live my life normally and being satisfied with the goal I set before which was 5-5.5 cm ,and I got it.
Right now walking with my walker almost to anywhere in my house ,feel very comfortable and I feel I can put a lot of weight on my legs but dr parihar doesn’t allow this so I will wait for his clearance to advance.
Overall my legs feel fine ,no pain but sometimes small flinching that can cause discomfort but nothing too bad compared to those deadly frames..
Slight knee pain from the area of the internal nailing but I guess it’s more from overall weakness and not from the actual insertion ,that will probably will go away after I will get my strength back

can Parihar remove Precice nails? I heard Precice is now banned in India as well but can he remove nails without Nuvasive's equipments? because I can more easily travel to India if necessary than some EU country
