Am I insane for considering lying about my height (adding an inch) even after getting CLL? I'll probably be a smidge over 6' at night, but plan to wear "taller" shoes and call myself 6'1.

Inflating about height is very common among ppl especially youngsters. Of course if you think post-LL height still as unsatisfactory you can inflate your height and it will not be guilty.

Gotcha. I really do wonder how real the "5'10 passing as 6'" phenomenon is though. I guess I'll find out after my first surgery haha

Inflate your height if the person you asked inflated it first. If they ask first then the conversation should go like this

"Hey how tall are you?" - the other person

"I don't know really, how tall are you?" - you

They then state their height and you say "Then I'm probably >insert your height with how many inches they inflated it by<"

If it's zero inflation then say your exact height, if it's 1 inches then say your height +1 inch etc

The rule of thumb is that you should give your height in shoes.
