It would be interesting to know if he is wearing them to square off with McGregor if he wears them in his everyday life.

It really does seem he was more mocked for wearing lifts then say his height... after all him and Mcgregor are just like an inch apart in height; in the stare downs fighters wear different shoes. We'll have to wait till final measuring press conference (where they record their final weights) to see their accurate heights.

Im saying he dosent care enough to do the surgery. Unless he does not know that it exist. He can easily afford in secret to do it with a top doctor. And even though he probably done after that 50th win so atheletic ability dont matter as much he would not do it since his money trumps everything.

Of course he can do LL theoretically.
But simply from a box legend he would become someone who wouldn't fight successfully even a c class boxer.
So in another words, practically no he can't do LL because he will ruin his legend, even if he stops boxing professionally. Maybe when he reach 45-50 when noone would care about his skills he could do it but there is no reason for doing LL at that age after all, especially for someone so rich and famous.
The same applies to Mcgreggor too as he is also less than average.

This whole fiasco really divulges the truth about height unfortunately. Even if you are a multi-millionaire who is humble and hard working, people will still make comments about your height. It really sucks being short.

At 5'8 - 5'9, people who try to bring people down about their heights are stupid as they are not too far from the average. Of course, he wouldn't do this surgery, he is fearsome, rich and famous, and his entire life is based on athletism. It would be stupid of him to do this surgery now and maybe he would consider it later in life if at all. He could get most likely all kinds of women, people respect him as he is at the top of his sport, and even the tallest dudes would think twice before entering in a fight with him.
