Misure of height

I am sorry for my bad english.
How can i misure my height at home?, i have to put my backside on the wall or i can misure front of the wall?
Im asking this because i have differents misure between the two methods.
If you know why, can you show me an explanation about this?

I Misure my height with a box so i am pretty sure im doing fine with the both methods, I saw the video but i dont know why i get differents misures  anyway
