Hello all,

I’m pretty new to this forum and have been looking around to learn all that I can for my LL next spring. I’m going with the Precice 2.2 and had concerns about wheelchair mobility. I’m 5’8 200lbs with a muscular build, and I don’t know if that’s ok to go in as? Should I be lighter? My rationale would be if I’m lighter I can put more weight on my legs as I transition from wheelchair to bed/toilet/car. If anyone has experience with this and has tips or tricks that would be immensely appreciated.

Also any and all other tips and tricks/devices I should buy beforehand, etc I would love to hear.
Thank you

Thank you for sharing your list and story Zidank! I’m not gonna lie, now that I’m locked in for surgery I’m absolutely terrified.. I think my hospital with Dr. M only lets us stay 2 days so I’m fairly concerned that some complication will arise and I’ll end up biting the dust while I’m back at my hotel solo.

What are the three main stretches you do post op? Can you explain how they’re done so as to practice them prior to surgery?
