Hey my guys I am always seeking for answers to this question that if it is normal to have only 162cm height as a Genz raised in a metrocity's central business district of China with good nutritions and environments after 3 y.o, in addition to my dad standing at a certain height nearly the same as mine and my mother standing at 158cm. But my paternal grandma is shorter than 146-147cm(paternal grandpa's height is unknown cuz he passed away not long after I could memorize things) and my maternal grandma is 146-147cm(maternal grandpa is around 165cm) in addition to my uncle standing at 155cm(obviously shorter than my mom).
So I am always wondering if I am a Constitutional Short Stature patient or suffering from certain maturing disorders.

我很同情你,在上海这个身高,不用纠结于这个,早点做吧,双断和最好的医生,你不会出什么大问题

Your family is very short so you in all likelihood that's why you are short. Sometimes genetics don't go your way. If your really concerned you could see a doctor but what difference would it make? You would still be 162cm either way. You should try and get LL asap so this stuff isn't always on your mind.

Are you Chinese? 162 cm may be considered slightly shorter in Chinese, but it's not that short. I have seen many Chinese men around 160 cm dating women.

You "should" be around 167 cm tall with a margin error of more or less 10 cm, so in fact you're in the normal range but were not lucky. (It could be worse...)
However  if you are still growing you should have a consultation with an endocrinologist to evaluate administration of  growth hormone injections. You can be segregating insufficient hormone.
If your plates are closed, no time to cry. Check your options and if LL is really the only and unavoidable solution after, let's say, at least one year of top psychotherapy really specialised in "body problems". Don't blame your parents. It's because of them you're here and it's probably from them that you have received and always will, the more unconditional support. Be strong.

Sometimes it just happens. Like look at some brothers, it's not thay uncommon for a brother to be 10cm taller than the other even though they had similar nutrition and lifestyle.

Taking into account your parents height you were supposed to be a bit taller bit got a bit unlucky which is not uncommon

I was already weighing 'having Parkinson and Leukemia' lower than 'being short'in my view of man's defects and you can see how 'not that short' I actually am Normal to stand only at 162cm born in a nutrtional family of not short parents?

I never blamed my parents and I never implied it and I am just curious of the reason why I am so short.
Unfortunately my growh plates were fused around 5 yrs ago so my height growth has ended up.

I heard of studies like Identical Twin Experiment revealed that even identical twins have 5-6cm height differences on average so what you said makes a lot senses except that it's unproven that a brother is not uncommon to tower over the other by 10cm and it's just your observation.

Good! I only wrote it to encourage you to be united and because it's so frequent that people here, when talk about their supposed "bad genes" also are harsh for their parents one way or the other. I think even the expression "bad genes" (sometimes some call it *uck up genes) is disrespectful for our parents. If we were to be judges of genetics (sounds bad, doesn't it Normal to stand only at 162cm born in a nutrtional family of not short parents?? ), contrarily, we should be grateful: almost all of us here didn't inherited a severe lethal, painful, handicaping or 100% dependency disease. And even less one of those genetic diseases that doesn't even give people time to tell.
