I hear all the time on this forum "don't go to Turkey, they're all butchers! you'll be crippled!" But surely nobody would do it if that were true. So if you did LL in Turkey and had a positive experience, please tell us here!

Their is a difference between one bad experience vs many of them. On this forum you can find lots of them, that tells you the same things, get's the same complications and that shows a issues since it shows a pattern of bad treatment and experience... That's why that in generel it's better to stay away from Turkey and India, since it's alot more risky because of the bad surgeons and risky old techniques (LON).

The truth is you'll probably be okay doing LL in Turkey. The question is how comfortable how are you with "probably" when we're talking about something as permanent as your legs? This isn't a simple botox procedure. The only reason to do in LL in Turkey is if you don't have the financial means to do it in the US. Or at least Europe. You're basically paying less money in exchange for more risk of something going wrong.

I'm currently doing LL in turkey I'm about 5cm at moment on LON femors. The doctor I have seem very professional I haven't heard of one complaint from him from anyone he seems to really care about not making mistakes and haven't made one yet and have had like 500+ surgery performed.

LOL, a doctor that even dare do 10cm femural lengthening for an LL patient is def not qualified. I won't say EVERY patient doing lengthening under his hand will have issues, but would you even like to attempt to do lengthening by such a surgeon?

Dr. Xia offers 10 cm, even on tibias.  He's not the best but he did an OK job on most cases I observed there.
