Procedure After Surgery (LON)

How procedure continues after surgery if we don't take accommodation package? Do I find myself a new doctor to continue the process (xrays, consolidation, infections etc.)? Do they teach me physiotherapy moves, dressing changes etc. How can I understand if I have an infections? Can random orthopedist from my city help me with my infections? It would help me so much if somebody answer my questions who had surgery overseas and returned their home.

And also do I have to pick accommodation package my doctor would be in 1 hour drive? I mean do I have to stay with my doctor and his team 7/24? Also is it logical to have this surgery with a surgeon who mostly operated on curing deformities (such as one leg being shorter than other leg) but operated less cosmeticaly?
