At the end of the day, when do proportions really matter? Because if someone lets say starts at a very low height, the height is more important than proportions. And In general, you can always wear clothing so it doesn’t look ridiculous, even if you did 6 inches. For example, I’m 5’9, and I want to get to 6’1-6’2. My wingspan is 5’9 so it would look weird at 6’2 but does that honestly really matter, especially if I get my arms super buff, and/or I do arm lengthening?

I am your height with much longer arms and my mock-ups look weird at 6’2 or higher, though not because of the arms.  IMO anyone can look good with 5cm on any dimension, but beyond that your arm length and inseam ratio become the bottleneck.  In my case my arms make me look normal at +4 inches but my torso is the limiting factor beyond that.

Thoughts on doing 4 and 4. Would put both of us at 6’0 and it’s split.

I wouldn’t worry too much about proportions. Maybe if you get the max amount then you should look into what will make you not proportional.

I’m probably going to do 8 and 3 or 7 and 4 or something like that.  I won’t be truly happy until I’m 185-186 I think.  I don’t mind having somewhat long femurs, honestly.  I have surgery in a few weeks so once I start lengthening I might change my stance (so to speak), it’s easy to talk about proportions before actually getting an operation lol

Yeah you should just lengthen and observe. See when you feel you like your proportions/height before going for more.
