Hello, I am 17 years old, I turn 18 in about a year, and I am a 5'6" male. I am commenting because I want to know if it is possible to do procedures for limb lengthening that could possibly get me to 6' or higher.
The reason obviously being that having a short height makes it difficult to have actual relationships and I would like to do one before going to uni. How long would one take and the price of such, also recommend doctors who can provide.
In regard to money: I have 15k saved up for college initially, but I will not be using it for college as I have grants/scholarships that make the first two years debt free.

Hi Quitent.
Yes, it is possible, but it could be risky.

With internal lengthening systems, the overall process is often 3–6 months, while external fixators usually require 9–12 months—this applies when you are treated by the most experienced specialists and follow rehabilitation very strictly.

It is still a major surgical journey that demands time, discipline, and mental strength. For this reason, doing it before university requires very careful planning and realistic expectations, even when performed by top surgeons.

With that budget, you may be close to undergoing external fixator limb lengthening in Italy with highly experienced surgeons, the outcome are worth the effort when expectations are realistic.

yes you can reach 6' however that's the max id reccomend probably going for 5'11 instead unless your a strong 5'6, nobody can really tell the difference that much irl, and youll be pushing your limits less. anything 5'10 or above is a good height
