Question about having other surgeries while I have frames on

Hi,
I've pretty much settled on doing tibuas with external frames. As well as this surgery, however, I'm also planning to have jaw surgery for a functional issue.

I'll have to really ask the doctors to know for sure, but I don't want to mention the limb lengthening to the orthogonatic surgeon until I know I'm actually doing it.

What do you think are the likely considerations for scheduling these two surgeries? Would it be better to do one or the other first? And say if I did limb lengthening first, would there be any issue (besides the cumbersome nature of the frames) to having the surgery done while being in the frames?

I wouldnt do it while lengthening because it would tax your will power which you probably will need alot of. Even in consolidation it would take from the motivation of PT I imagine. I was considering a dental treatment during that time but kind of let it go because I am going to do tibas and femurs back to back.

Which doctor are you planning to do with? Why you chose external fixator? how many cm are you planning to do? how long are you going to be on the frames? will you do LATN or just pure external frames until the consolidation of the bones?
