People who were really in shape then lost it have better results, because their soft tissue is stretched from mass gain already. Non smokers is a huge factor, age is a big factor you will heal faster at 20 than you will at 30-40-50, you can still do ll but recovery is faster.

I believe weight is a big factor, I was walking 1 week unassisted post surgery I weight about 125-130

can't agree more. Do you think LL patients can undergo this surgery all alone or is it a whole world better to have someone by your side from the begining to an end, like full time care taker helping with physical needs and mental fortitude.

Doing this by yourself, especially for the first two weeks, is extremely brutal. I would never do this again without somebody with me.

It’s really nice to have people to support you. I was fortunate enough to have family friends who hosted me in Florida for 3 months while I was getting this done. It was nice to have home cooked meals and even go out for drinks while lengthening.

u don't need anyone at all if you are doing this for yourself - u can still meet people and go out for meals or walks - either in clinic gerunds or out and about - u can embrace the journey in a wider sense than simply lengthening...

going alone you will be forced to concentrate on the reason you are there - ie a successful lengthening

also you may not want others to know etc  questions to LL patients!
