I understand that objectives for limb lengthening vary, but wow, taking the chance of developing ballerina foot, drop foot, pulmonary embolism, losing 100k, and enduring 6 months to a year in recuperation just to match someone’s height with shoes on? That seems quite foolish.

Yeah, I concur. Planning for a 3cm maximum increase for limb lengthening. Eagerly anticipating a smooth and uncomplicated recovery.

Proportions play a vital role. Men in this space criticize you for disrupting their expectations. Based on my observations from various videos, it seems that most individuals can achieve results with 6cm femurs, while only a few can do so with 8cm. The figures for tibias are even more restricted due to the noticeable elevation of the knees.

6cm is ideal for almost everyone. 2 inches can make a significant difference, and you will appear typical. My designs began to appear strange beyond that point, although for me, I was precisely at the 0.80 ratio. I came across a comment here saying “individuals will only recognize it when you are seated.” So, what’s the strategy here… you simply avoid sitting from now on? lmfao. Avoid going to the beach, refrain from undressing, and avoid sitting down. Understood.

How were your mock-ups created, by the way? Photoshop?

What are people’s thoughts on increasing tibias by 3cm to possibly 4cm? What are the recovery period and difficulties linked with it? Achieving and bouncing back from a 3cm lengthening procedure seems relatively straightforward.

It might be prudent as it greatly reduces the likelihood of long-term issues. However, performing limb lengthening between 3.2-4 cm on the tibia should be paired with 4-5 cm on the femur to achieve a visible end result.

Height Journey underwent a 3.7 cm tibia procedure following a 7 cm femur surgery; you can gain some perspective by reading his tibia diary:

It is not really worth it for just 3cm, in my opinion.

What is your height? If you are close to the average height, a 4CM increase will be apparent. If you are 5’3”, it will not be noticeable. Still, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t choose femurs over tibias; there are fewer complications and a quicker recovery time.

I will never comprehend why individuals desire anything under 4cm. Why not simply opt for lifts?
