Robin Williams Dies of Suspected Suicide

Robin Williams was found dead this morning. Apparently he was battling severe depression. So upset right now from this news. I actually brought the movie Hook with me to the hotel and got done watching it again the other day. He was in so many movies I watched as a kid that gave me good memories of my childhood. Very sad day.

One of my LL friends here pulled out his phone and told me this. At first I didn't believe. Not that I was a fanatical fan but it is certainly a bummer. At least it distracted from my aches I suppose....

The details of his suicide were revealed. They found self inflicted cuts on his left arm and a belt wrapped around his neck with the other end wedged between a shut door.

This is the first time the death of someone outside a family member has really saddened me as if I lost a close friend or relative. Probably because he was in so many childhood favorites that it feels as if he was someone I knew. Still hard to accept this happened.

I remember how excited i was when his movies were released back in the 90's. Movies such as flubber, jumanji, mrs.doubtfire and hook are part of my good childhood memories. I loved his role in goodwill hunting but i have yet to see dead poets society.
It is really sad to see the consequences of alcoholism and depression.

He had parkinssons disease and he was 63 years old.

What the actuall fk was his purpouse on earth at that time?. I don't blame im for suicide. I would have done the same. Altough a little bit more intresting.
