Just wanna know how do the scars from external tibia lengthening look like? Seriously considering parihar for external tibias but the scars turn me off, unless scar revision and tattoo coverup is a good enough option to make the scars nearly invisible.

A lot of it depends on your skin tone and the amount of hair you have covering the pin/osteotomy/insertion areas.

My scars show up pretty vividly (you can see in most of my pics and videos), but I stopped caring long ago.

This is what my scars look like 2 years and 9 months after the surgery. The ones closest to the ankles have faded the least and the indentations by the knees are where Dr Parihar made the holes around the wires a little bigger to reduce skin tearing.

It actually doesn't even look bad in KiloKahn's pictures. I do would like to know how it looks after scar revision.

Yeah, some guys are just blessed with hairier legs...and fewer scars, of course.

At the times I did get self-conscious, I've tried some tanning creams to reduce the contrast of the reddish-brown scars and my whitish skin. It can help when people see me from a distance, like at the beach...but when people get up close, it's usually "WTF happened to YOU?!?"
Good thing I've heard it enough to be ready with my excuses/stories/lies.

And the upkeep on self-tanning is a f.ucking pain...not to mention the crappy ones can give you an orange tint, like the guy living at 1600 Penn right now.

Wow they look really good. Im thinking of scar revision + tattoo cover up. Im also the same starting height as you (5'4) and visiting parihar for a 6cms increase as well in external tibia.

Did you have any lasting complications of LL?
