So I'm at 5'11 but I have a longer torso than legs, and that has always bothered me and has been my reason to do LL. Yesterday I was on a Zoom meeting with someone and the moment I saw someone outside my window walk past with a longer-leg-than-torso ratio (and dressed very nicely too so it was a whole package) my mind was hit like a storm and couldn't even focus on the meeting anymore. That was like the most dramatic experience I have had. I mean I've always been conscious about my legs since like high school but yesterday was something else. I'm fairly happy with the other aspects of my life but I really hope I can reach a stage in my life where I can take out half a year to go through this LL.

Just thought it would be interesting to share.

How tall are you and don't underestimate the importance of a good proportion

I have nothing against the taller crowd doing LL and don't get me wrong when I say this. All the taller lads that got LL done immediately regretted it the day after surgery. I had the same reaction as LL was mostly a bonus for me. My height did not bother me too much and I thought this would be a simple surgery and I could get a boost of confidence. I was very wrong. If you can live without LL, then do not get it, simple as that. At 5ft11 even Holland would not be a problem to live in, a mere 3cm below the average is not all that noticeable.

No idea why people would go for this surgery or even consider it if they are taller than 175cm. It's so painful and torturous for miniscule gains.

I'm 5 ft 10 (178), I live in a country where 178 cm average height by statistic, today I had a shift in a mall and bruh, I felt below average height, and it wasn't just young guys , it were almost every second man ,their age range from 18 to 50 ,so...I suppose to feel dead on average here, I need to be 6 ft or strong 183 cm in the evening,  which means never drop below 183 till the end of the day

Why do you care so much for a measly few centimetres? You are not short, it is they who are very tall.
