I was the same as you until right after college. Could barely talk to hot girls. Any girls I got in the past were just sheer dumb luck. I didn't hit my stride until after college. One direction is a diff. story. It does seems as if some of them are a bit short but they are popular because the media are not selling height with these. They are selling sexy cute boys for the young girls who don't seem to care yet about the height. Once the girls turn 16 they wanna feel "older" and stop idolizing them for several reasons.
