Holy crap ladies and gents,i got a stadiometer delivered today and got measured at 176.2cm or 5'9.375,pretty confused right now don't really no what to think. When i was 17 i thought i was 5'10,then at 18 found out i was 5'9(in my mind)then at 20 remeasured myself at 5'10,all against a doorway. So i when i was 5'10 originally i was a very strong 5'7 probably, then when i was 5'10 again i was actually 5'8,then finally at 5'10 again i'm 5'9.F u c k my life, and i was about a quarter of an inch shorter before starting letrozole 9 days ago,on the plus side they'res still hope to get taller but 5'10 is actually what 5'11 was to me before,so now a solid 5'10 is the realistic goal lol.In conclusion guys buy a stadiometer or keep getting inaccurate measurements. Also i now realize they'res no way 5'10 is average if im 5'9 in england in a rural english village full of whites, and i feel above average if anything at times, these studys i know now are definitely inflated, all my friends i know are estating now pretty much also.

Congratulations, you're exactly average. If you were 5'10 then you would be in the 1/3rd most lucky people and if you were 5/8 then you'd be in the 1/3rd less lucky people if you even want to be tall. If you would prefer saying that you're 5'10 then nobody would care as most likely you're closer to that height in the morning and when you're wearing shoes, you're probably around that height which would be above average, so just claim that if you please. Nobody will think any higher of you if you were taller, honestly, and if they do then they're non-genuine. I can relate because I discovered that I was 6'1 & 1/2 and I was claiming to be 6'3 and that's what people estimated my height to be and now it varies between 6'2 & 2/3 to 6'3 & 1/3, so I just say 6'3 as anyone else would do.

You're essentially 5'10. The Imperial system is shxte.

No one sees a difference between a 176.8cm and a 177.8cm outside of the US.

And remember, you have to measure yourself with your stadiometer just after waking up if you want your max height.

Thanks for the encouragment, but anything but evening height imo is cope,i'll still try to reach 5'11 evening height regardless, but 5'10.5 i should be content with,we shall see.

I'm to honest to claim 5'10 tbh lol and yea i'm 5'10 out of bed, thanks for sharing,at 6'2 i think it's much easier to exaggerate it slightly as you're considerabley taller than the norm.

If you're 6'2.5, mathematically you'd round to 6'3, actually. Six Foot Two and two-third's is too exhausting to claim, so I just say 6'3.

you probably measured yourself with a bad posture or you measured yourself at different hours ?

You feel above average ? pretty funny, I would say average there is about 5-9, probably less if we consider migrants but ye, recent studies showing UK average as 5'10 or even more are bull

if you are impressed with 0,8cm I will give a tip:
aloft daily and after 1 month try to take the measurements in the morning with a good posture after stretching,
I would not be surprised if you arrive at 1.78m

here are some stretching tips
