A lot of people over here are afraid to lengthen too much so they won't look like a cartoon. I live in Holland and I'm 5'8. There's a 6'6 who got the same sitting height as me and he still looks normal. He looks long legged but not weird. His sitting height is even the same as a 5'5 girl I know. Long legs are being known as attractive so don't worry. Almost all tall men in Holland look like apotheosis and they're still looking normal. You guys just think too much about proportions while "normal people" never notice things like that. This all means that a lot of 5'8/9 guys can lengthen up to heights like 6'3/6'4 and still nobody will think you look weird. I didn't look at arm sizes but this can be lengthened. Don't worry about proportions

Quote from: Alittletooshort on March 22, 2016, 09:02:35 PMIt´s your arms and shoulders that look weird, and it´s absolutely wrong that you can lengthen up to 7 or 8 inches and still be proportionate. Perhaps I care a little too much about proprtions but saying that they do not matterat all is just wrong.
The 6´6 guy probably didn´t sit straight, but even if your sitting height was the same you´d still look horrible if you lengthened yourself to his height. There was a picture of a guy who went from 168 to 178 next to a guy who was 178 naturally and the guy who did the lengthening looked like a dwarf on stilts.

How can i look horrible if my sitting height is the same. Maybe my arms would look short but that's no prob since you can lengthen them. Look at NBA players and very tall people they all have short sitting heights. And you can't compare me to other people since every person is unique. Maybe that 168 guy already had long legs. Most people are only tall Cuz of their long legs. I know a tall girl (5'10) and a short girl (5'3) and their sitting heights are the same. So how would the short girl look horrible if she does 7 inches? She would just get the same proportions as the tall girl which looks normal. You're just worrying too much about proportions. Every tall dutch man looks like apotheosis and his proportions are more than normal over here

" This all means that a lot of 5'8/9 guys can lengthen up to heights like 6'3/6'4 and still nobody will think you look weird."

maybe youre right, but such amount begins to be dangerous and 6'1 6'2 is a really good height everywhere (even in Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Iceland, USA, etc)
and i dont see where do you see this kind of people (sometimes I feel that you are living in a world where everyone is 2m), but when i see a 6'2 6'3 guy he looks very tall impossible to have the same sitting height as a 5'5 girl
for exemple look Mutara III (6'8') he look monstrously tall

I live in Holland and I'm going to college. In my other class everybody was a lot shorter. But in my current class the average height is 1,88 m. Someone measured it for a project. So yes I live with giants

Quote from: KiloKAHN on March 24, 2016, 07:15:24 PMI like what Dr Birkholtz had to say about proportions in this post: http://www.limblengtheningforum.com/index.php?topic=137.msg2102#msg2102

Yes he is right. Its bad for your health to get that much taller but he says nothing about looking weird. And that's what I mean. People are too scared to look weird

Quote from: theophilo on March 24, 2016, 09:15:10 PMno interest to risk your health just because you want to be taller as your friends
185-188 seems good, even if 188 is the average
but I think you've already thought it

Its not worth it to risk your health i agree but this topic isn't about health. Its about people stressing too much to look weird after lengthening a lot. But i wouldn't do it too cuz of health reasons. My point was that most people dont have to worry about proportions since theres very little chance to look weird. And i dobt think apotheosis looks weird in the photo. My 6'3 natural friend has the same proportions.

Quote from: Alittletooshort on March 25, 2016, 02:50:04 AMThis is just wrong, I doubt that you have ever seen a LL'er (with 8cm+) standing next to a guy who has the same height naturally. 10 out of 10 times you'd be able to tell who has gotten his limbs lengthened.
Apotheosis looks extremly weird next to a 6'3 guy, he sags his pants and wears oversized shirts and still looks weird. His hands and feet are tiny compared to a 6'3 guy, his shoulders are narrower as well. This guy is basically all legs. I doubt that he can run for longer than just a couple of minutes.

Did you see the picture I sent. Just look at that one

Quote from: Alu on March 25, 2016, 06:53:34 PMSitting height is not a good indicator of torso length. Never has been really. It's part torso length and part fat and/or muscle in the glutes (ass). It's more of a lazy reference for overall body proportion.

That pic is not at all representative of what would most sitting heights are. The woman even looks like she has a pretty big butt (Dat ass).

The only thing I ever came close to considering as being a good indication of leg length relative to height is True Inseam; but that's hard to measure and get a proper reference for since most people consider inseam as being pant length.

You're right but you have to understand that nobody gives so much attention to the lil details. You and some old forum members are probably the only one who look so closely to proportions by counting numbers etc. Nobody cares that much about proportions like forum members.
