Noting really illegal about it. Running a forum does cost money because it being hosted on someone's serve costs money (unless you own your own server), SysOp just never stated how much it costs to run and we assumed by his plea that it cost a few hundred dollars. I doubt anyone will donate now.

ahaa ok.. I thought it is illegal in US.. cuz in UAE if you want to start donation or  Raise Funds without the permission it could led you to lot of troubles.. even if it was just in the forum..

There's a lot of laws in United Arab Emirates that you wouldn't find in America.

This is suspicious... there is now ANOTHER Paley thread that was just started.  That's 2 in 2 days for Dr. Paley!?  He's literally only had 1 for the past 4 years!!  This is very, very sketchy.  Sounds like another Apo/Sysop-Paley deal to me.
