nope, the majority of tape measures are imprecise, constructed by manufacturers with insecurities and a Napoleon complex. The market is heavily influenced, requiring a construction crane and a laser beam for enhanced accuracy.

I have both a tape measure and a stadiometer at home. Measurements are practically the same + / – 1-2 mm
