Hi, I had an appointment last week to learn about my posture problems, and I also asked the doctor some additional questions when I went. I'm writing here to get your opinion as well. While radiological data showed that a friend's growth plates had closed, actual hospital height measurements revealed a permanent height gain of 2.6 to 3 cm (he knows there is a difference in the morning and evening measurements).
When I asked him how he did it, he said he based his work on increasing the water retention capacity of the intervertebral discs. When I asked him how he did it, he said he went swimming regularly twice a week and used height-increasing exercises from a Turkish physiotherapist's YouTube channel. (If you want, I can give you the video; you can try watching it with English subtitles.)
He said that by doing this regularly for 55 days, he achieved a net gain of 2.6cm, but if he stopped swimming and these exercises, he would return to his old height, meaning he didn't increase his height but unlocked his potential. I think 3cm is a pretty good gain; after all, most people on this forum are considering 7cm femur lengthening, so who could say no to a painless 3cm height? As for why I told the doctor in the first on place at the beginning of this article.
when I told him this story, he said it was possible. But if it's possible, why isn't it mentioned more often? I can't understand that.
Has anyone tried this when it's certain that the growth plates are closed? I'm curious to hear your opinions (is there anyone who has seen results after a minimum of 2 months, not just 10-15 days?) As far as I remember, my height is normally 166 cm, but I clearly feel like I reached 169 cm when I went swimming. Maybe I can try to maintain that 169 cm height through exercise for the rest of my life; it's worth it. Has anyone tried them?
