It would be hard, but possible, to use the ERC with one hand. The ERC for arm lengthening may be different. You'll have to ask your doctor about arm lengthening details, including the ERC.

The upper/proximal arm (humerus) can be lengthened for cosmetic reasons, up to 5cm. The forearm (distal arm) is only for deformity correction, not cosmetic lengthening.
