I can't really make up my mind on this one. Dr Guichet has put me off tibiae lengthening by saying it's risky and long to recover. He also said i have pretty short femurs. I have always liked long tibiae better.

Guys, can I have your opinion on my body proportions? I am a 176 tall guy and would like to lengthen by 5-6 cm. Would you go with tibial or femoral lengthening?

And full body scan: http://imgur.com/a/mqFV0

Cheers

Hard to say just by x-rays, normal picture of yourself would be better but i would say you should go for femurs.

And yes femurs heal faster.

You are 176 cm high, and you consider yourself as short?

1) definetly femurs

2) You have an obvious disperency in your legs (can be seen by the pelvic tilt) which is caused by uneven femurs

Thanks a lot for your opinions guys.
I am still not quite sure about femurs. Please take a look at photos of me. Curious to know what you say now.

you need to post a picture with your hands extended. still femurs in my opinion.

On the old forum there was this guy who did tibia LL 8cm with Pilli and he looks like   now in my opinion. On this forum, the guy who just started tibial LL with Sarin has starting proportions of someone who already did femoral LL... Long femurs is natural (to some extent) while long tibias compared to femurs isnt

difficult choice. get an x-ray, ask a doctor to calculate ratio and then decide.

Hi Random  Tibiae or Femurs? My X-ray and proportions

Tibike is correct about the length discrepancy.
In the full body scan your pelvic is notably tilt and your right side of the hip is lower. Your knees are the same height, so your right femur is indeed shorter.
From a medical point of view, you should go for femur, because besides of getting taller you could even out your legs too. Plus femurs are less risky.

BUT looking at your pictures, I think that longer tibia might look better on you.
It's not so easy to say because I cant see your entire body including your (censored) head.
Maybe you should have your bones measured first and make a mockup as well.
