And by the way height>proportions any day! Unless I'm gonna look like t-Rex
You have to find the right mark for yourself. I plan on lengthening 3 inches but I'm confident I'll look decent in it, at most I'll seem to have longer legs and I actually think that's a good thing, it'll be cool to have longer legs. (not that I care much)
After that it goes downhill. If I did 4-5 inches, I'd look noticeably bad with smaller arms/torso than any 5'7 guy. Everyone wants to gain as much as possible but the right mark for me is 3 inches. There are people who do 3cm and people who do 7 inches...
I noticed that LL on tibias is better than LL on femurs for proportions: people which go for 10 cm on femurs look "strange" after the surgery, oppositely 8-10 cm on tibias are less noticeable. If you don't trust me, go on the dr. Salameh website and look to some men which did that: there are photos of people which did LL for 13 cm (yes, 13 cm!) in a single surgery and they look quite fine...
I haven´t seen a single video of someone who did 10 cm´s and who does fine (function and proportion wise). Could you post some links pls OP?
Andrewshizzle looks ok but he did 9 cm´s.
Excuse me, what's the (aesthetic) difference between + 9 and + 10 cm? I'm not saying that people look fine after a single +10 cm surgery, I'm just saying that LL on tibias seems better than LL on femurs if you want to look not a lot out of you real proportions. It's similar to women which have mastoplasty: if they go for an enormous breast it will be very noticeable, for LL may be the same thing.
Guys please let me bust the lobg legs mythe. I live in the netherlands and i can tell you 6 ft is short over here. Im 5 ft 8 and i have the same upper body as my friend whose around 6,1. Dutch people just have long legs abd they look fine.so dont worry about your proportions because you only short because of short legs. If you dont believe just watch a random tv show and you will see that their sitting height is almost the same. Then google their height and you will see that their height varies a lot. Tall people just have taller legs in proportion.
I am from Taiwan and I want to agree with holland
Although I am never doing LL
I can say from the love of basketball and study
I can tell you although you can never go wrong with long leg
tall guys who perform the best, 6'11+ so to say the most agile and overall skill
running stealing jumping dunking blocking
has a 1:1:1 ratio that is torso, fibula, tibia
or 1:2 ratio that is body to lower body(legs)
With the example of Generation player Anthony Davis 6'11, Thon maker 7'1, Bol Bol 6'11, chol marial 7'3, Giannis Antetokoumpo 6'11, Kevin Durant 6'10 are ones that are or projected to be prodigy

here's the image of one in sitting
It's correct to say you wouldn't go wrong with long leg because they are extremely healthy, best, run like freak, fastest on floor if they steal, has a long stride of 7 feet +, can jump and catch at 12 feet, dive, coordinate enough to pass and shoot, they are 1:1:1 means every 1cm torso 2cm leg
