Hi All,
I'm a woman in late 40s and 4'9''. I'm scheduled for quadrialteral with Dr. Assayag in Baltimore in a few weeks. I've been so excited about this for months, but now i'm freaking out and may cancel. This will be my only chance to do this because once I'm over 50 (and a woman), bone growth gets much more challenging. Can anyone provide me advice, feedback?
Words of wisdom?
thank you!

Why are you freaking out?
Although very expensive, US is one of the few countries that provides the highest quality medical care, so, don't worry about it.

I'm actually considered a little person (under 4'10'') so my insurance should pay for most of it, won't find out until the week before the surgery... I'm afraid of the long recovery, going into depression during recovery due to being so sedentary and immobile, and the PAIN!!!!!  and complications.

You're not alone. I'm 49 and will do LL with Dr. Assayag in June. We've got this!

I am so jealous of you. I wish I could do quadra in the US. Of course, the money is an issue for me. Good luck on the recovery! Keep us updated.
