In femur you can do more than in tibia but 10 cm is a very bad choice. I would bet 6.5 is the maximum

I would do 6.5cm MAX femurs. Maybe depending on your condition you can try to push for 7cm. Anything above that is going to cause major problems IMO.

you can do even 15 cm for tibia, but the question is it ok for you to not walk again?

4cm on tibia and 6cm on femur. Don't do more.

It will be expensive as hell and you'll be like 5-10% disabled. That's the truth.

If he want every cm so badly, i think 7 is achievable, of course 6 more safe in general

I thought 5 cm tibiae is really safe, definitely 4 cm is safer but 5 cm shouldn't be a problem?

How about 6.5 femur and 5.5 tibiae as opposed to 7f-5t?

10 cm on tibia is beyond overkill. You'll regret doing that much for the rest of your life. You're going to have to get both segments done if you want 4 inches. (Let's say 6 cm femur and 4 cm tibia)
Although at 5'10 I probably wouldn't bother to get LL in the first place since you're not short in the slightest. Or just do 4-5 cm max on tibias and you'll be 6'0. Don't destroy your legs to get 4 inches in one surgery, especially when you're already 5'10.

i have read that femurs are much easier so probably i am going to do them because difference between my femur and tibia length  is very little and also i want to do whole thing with 1 segment. 8 cm for femurs is real or better stay with 7?
