Hey everyone
I am planning on doing 4cm LON next summer, tibia.
I am currently 170cm and my wingspan is the same 170cm.
I naturally dont have long arms, no one has ever mentioned it to me but just being a super critical person, I noticed that I do kinda have short arms and small hands.
I have made some mock pictures, where I 'lengthened' 4cm and what you will see in all the pics is what I will look like post surgery, IN SHOES.
So the first two pics will be what I will look like after surgery, in shoes.
The last two pics will be the same thing, but I recreated the effect by standing on my tip toes instead of wearing shoes.

(please note, the annotations at the top of the pics are based on morning height etc. First thing in the morning im 172.1cm but after a long night I creep down to 169.8cm)
Like I said, I already know that I dont have long arms, but what I just want to know is if the 'average' everyday person would notice my proportions. Does it look really bad where I need to consider arm lengthening or will it be fine and no one will really notice in real life?
I don't really care what my legs will look like, or if my tibia's will look really long...that doesn't really matter to me. What I want to know is what you guys think of my arms in proportion to my body. I know it's not perfect, but like I said, I just want to know if I will look funny in real life to people or if the vast majority wont even notice anything
Thanks a lot everyone! I really appreciate all the responses I will get!
It's incredibly unusual for a man to have a height 6cm over his wingspan and it reflects in your pictures that it's obvious. The average person might think something is "off" about your proportions especially compared to guys naturally 176-177cm tall.

Hey there. Thanks for your reply. After surgery my wingspan would be 4cm above height not 6.
I know for a trained eye like us people on this forum you can tell, but do you still think the average person would notice that my arms look short?
Looks fine. I looked at the first pic before reading the post and assumed it was a "before" pic.

Thanks a lot man. I really appreciate it!
I've always thought and known I had short arms however...

That's not something really noticeable.

I also thought this. Looks good. Not noticeable in the slightest.
Tibia tends to give better aesthetic proportions.
Hey everyone
Here are 3 more pics
These will be a much better representation. I added 4cm to the tibia.
This is what I will look barefoot after the 4cm

I think go max (that you feel is safe) on the femurs then get a good pair of boots with insoles. (JUST AN OPINION - COULD BE WRONG
The difference in arm span isn't a big deal in my opinion for say 7 - 8 cm that equates to like a couple of cm on the arms, who cares, also people have different arm spans anyway (you won't look like a T-rex haha)
