I'm 18 now and 5'10, I was 5'9 when I was 16 and a half, but I think my growth is slowing down a fair bit. I'd be lucky to hit 5'11 and 6'0/1 is the goal tho  When did you stop growing?

Well if it makes you feel any better i was an inch shorter at 18 compared to 20.But if i was you i'd already consider an ai to stop your growth plates closing.Yea it can fk with your endocrine system but i'd rather have screwed up hormones vs losing most of my athletic ability. But if you'd be happy enough at 5'11 then maybe not.

Quote from: Juiceslikewine on May 19, 2018, 02:51:54 AMYea 6'0 or 6'1 would be great hoping i've got some natty height to go so i don't have to consider surgery.Hope all goes well when you take the plunge. How much function would you lose with 3 inches gained?

My proportions are decent enough to get it done. So barring anything complicated happening after full recovery and post rod removal i'll hopefully be at 75-80% of what I was before.

Could be a little to a lot more, can't see it being alot less. I would gladly trade 25% of my former athleticism for a few inches. If I can keep more i'd be thrilled though.

75 percent seems like decent trade of tbh.Even if you lose considerably more could you still lift weights improve your physique? That would be my main worry.
