I too am very grateful that a busy expert in the field of LL, Dr. Monegal, takes his time to answer our questions here, though he has no obligation to do so and despite the fact that some members of of this forum have been ridiculously rude to him.

I've always wondered what became of Bilateral Damage (BD). Seemed really into his LL with Paley at first (even though he had that scary complication at first, but bounced back), but just dropped off the forum. I hope he ended up ok and is happy.

All these cases scare me. Paley kidnaps his patients: BD, Sweatpants... They've complications and disappear. Creepy!!!

I've heard from BD. He said he's been fully recovered for a while now and is lifting weights, walking miles a day, and even using the treadmill.

That's great, do you think he would consider coming here and answer some of our questions?

That's great to hear! I used to PM him last year, seemed like a nice kid.

I could ask, but the first thing he said to me was something like "It's true what they say, once you're done, you never want to look back."

Seems like he's enjoying his height and wants to forget about the lengthening boards.

Fair enough, just let him know it would be greatly appreciated.
