Kinda a boring question but still wanna dispute over this on this forum.
First off, the rank ordered and the statistics offered by Lancet are all bs and you can check them out in one of my last posts which made the jig up. You'll see Lancet's true colors and how hilarious it is being. (Reminder: It's literally bs that North Korea's average height is 174cm)
IMO, South Sudan or Montenegro can win the champion in the average height cuz for once I searched their offcial average height statistics and they showed that the former was as tall as the latter and they were equally around 183.8cm tall barefoot.
More interesting, there is a ytuber posted a vid about the highest race——Sudanese. And you can enjoy it here:

In addition, I really found some Chineses are really prone to bluffing about average height, especially for millenials, like Chinese millenial average height is 185cm and even taller, Chinese pupil average height is 180cm for boys and 168cm for girls, Chinese middle school student is commonly 185-190cm tall, etc.
Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on October 26, 2021, 03:39:45 PMLast I heard it was the Netherlands.
Last time I heard it was Chinese millenials on the Internet LOL.
Just kidding. Actually the Netherlands can't even tower over people in the Balkan Peninsula.

Yeah and I'm wondering why Africans can get that tall in such indigence. I think they are tall cuz of their genes.
Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on October 26, 2021, 06:10:13 PMWrong.

No cuz you can google Montenegrin or Sudanese anthropometric statistics and you'll find average heights in those countries are even taller than the Netherlands, for maybe both Montenegro and South Sudan are not worldwide renowned countries.
Quote from: YungGud on October 27, 2021, 04:34:07 AMIf I'm not mistaken tallest average height(185.6 cm) in Europe is region of dinaric alps, thats split between Montegro,Serbia and some other Balkan state
Yeah but dinaric alps is a remote mountain, not a country
Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on October 27, 2021, 05:33:25 AMAverage male height in Montenegro is 5'10. In Sudan it's 5'7.
Average heights in Africa differentiate very obviously from one country to another and in South Sudan, Sudanese is the tallest race all over the world. I'm not very knowledgable of various races in Africa sorry.
Quote from: ilovescience on October 30, 2021, 02:46:55 PMI think it depends on which generation you were talking about. However, the country that goes with LL being commonplace probably has the tallest average height in future.
You shouldn't take only the prevalance of LL into factors that can influence average heights cuz you gotta know LL is a very expensive and dangerous surgery and if LL is becoming more and more common, the price will also increase following after the increasement of prevalance. So economies and welfares are still crucially impacting on LL's availabilities in random countries.
So I bet the tallest country is America cuz of being the very most medically developed country while Japan can be juxtaposed with it but Japaneses are not seemingly obsessed with heights at all, seeing from America-born Japaneses' bluffing the least about their own heights.
Just my 2 cents.
Quote from: zaozari on October 27, 2021, 01:04:00 PMIn this site they say it's the "Dinaric Alps", with 185,6 for men.

Sorry, it had already been replied. The calculator and Google surely will answer that.
And indeed it is. I searched their statistics measured and counted by the anthropometrists, having proven people in Dinaric Alps is the tallest race, juxtaposed with South Sudaneses.
