After reading up on LL, reading patient experiences etc, I know this surgery is a massive undertaking in pretty much all aspects. Do you guys think this will ever be an easy or easier surgery? Maybe Stryde will come back at 1/3rd of the price and be 5 times better. Or maybe that prolixo nail will be released and turn LL into a routine surgery.

What is considered the easiest way to do this surgery in terms of recovery/pain? - internal/external, load bearing, LON, Stryde etc?

Might be stupid question, but when people talk about internal/external, tibia/femur, does this matter when doing Stryde? And if so, which ones are considered the "easiest" to do.

How would a full weight bearing nail change things?
