I wonder what happens with the soft tissue? When you lengthen it gets stretched but eventually grows in size. When you shorten it will your legs look thicker, maybe look a bit flaccid like a deflated balloon?
That may be a consideration if aesthetics are your primary reason.
It's difficult for me to tell you to reconsider doing this when I had surgery to increase my height. However, I am absolutely sure that if you go to the gym to train you will become a beautiful, attractive woman and that one day you will also meet a tall guy, and finally form a family. I know it must be very difficult to find guys taller than you (it depends on where you live) but I think the best thing is to take advantage of your height and train hard, your body will be perfect and maybe you'll get it out of your head, maybe.
๐ sorry you got a husband already ๐

It's also been on my mind...but assuming it it's quadrilateral, it'll be minimal and not a big deal.

I don't consider myself ugly nor this is supposed to make me attract more men, I wouldn't change my husband for anything.
I want to blend in with the rest and look okay, that's my goal.
This surgery is a more difficult surgery than LL. If it bothers you and makes you regret it until you die, do it. But don't forget the risks. This will be much harder than LL. Plus, you're married and it's nice that you're doing this for yourself. You don't live for others. Michael Jackson had many plastic surgery obsessions, but he died happily. If you accept the risks, do it. But stay away from doctors like Dr Giotikas and Betz. you will be fineย
If you decide to go trough with it, then please do it for your own confidence sake and not for dating. Statistics has shown again and again that being a tall women is not as a big disadvantage as being short as a guy when it comes to this regard. I as a short guy that loves tall women lol.

I'm 184cm, or a bit under 6'1".
And I want to be at least 178cm. Or 5'10.
