大家好，我今年22岁，95年出生，我来自中国，身高只有170cm,在中国身高的定义分为南方和北方，南方人的平均身高大概在172左右，北方则在178左右，不过亚洲的平均身高要求比不了欧洲和美国，我是一名学表演的学生，我从17岁读艺校，升入大学后一直受身高困扰，中国是不允许做增高手术的，大家知道的那几个医生都是有后台的，而且技术很差，很多人都有并发症，相信我，国内的人是最了解的，所以宁愿省钱也不要来中国做手术，术后的最终目标就是要做演员跑剧组，这对腿的运动力要求大家都清楚，所以我必须有信心面对我要遇到的一切，因为它们本身是可以达到的，只要上天没有把坏运气彻底给你，我正在办理护照，Dr.monegal是我目前的选择，当然我们还没有见面，抱歉我的英语书写能力不是太好，所以我的整篇日记会拿中文记录，麻烦各位用翻译器了，中国人很讲缘分，希望和你们成为现实的朋友！

I highly doubt the average height in those areas is close to 178. It would be 170 at most.

In fact,I lived in Dalian and Harbin, and especially in Harbin (north east) people are actually quite tall, I would say similarly as in the US, around 175.
And I noticed that people are very focused on height. For example, an ex girlfriend of mine, 177 cm from Harbin, told me she would only consider men above 190.
And the first thing my business partner told me on our first in person meeting: "Nice to meet you. I thought you would be taller!"

哇，没想到这样的回复，我关注你很久了，这很棒，你在中国生活过，事实上我的母亲是哈尔滨人，但她的身高只有160厘米，但她是1958年出生的，我母亲生我比较晚，北方男人因为平均身高高，所以北方女人都不太接受矮小一些的男人，南方姑娘好一些，不过大部分人都喜欢高大的，在大部分中国人眼里国外人都比较高，因为他们不会用数据去分析，只是最直观的想法，期待有一天和你相见！

朋友，在中国是分南方与北方，所以身高南北身高是不一样的，当然中国男人整体的平均身高大概是171左右。

Write in english or don't write at all.
It would be ridiculous for any of us to write on their native language because noone could understand.

And of course it is ridiculous to say that in China average is 1.78.
It is less than even 1.70.

抱歉朋友，我的英语写作水平不太好，我刚才指的意思是在中国的北方平均身高有178，整个中国的平均身高也只有170左右。

Honestly, just let him write it like this. Google translate isn't as bad of an option when doing this; will be rough, but whatever. But I do agree, I really doubt it's close to even 170 CM. Certainly some parts of China are more affluent and thus probably close to Western, averages, but even then I don' think it's at 178.

English is not the only language if we don't understand him it is our problem, not his.

I think it is a common denominator in most height neurosis to think that everyone else (family, country, region) are taller than they really are.
