I thought about going to France, even took French for 4 years. Forgot everything though because as it turns out there aren't many French speakers in California 
Yeah well french is a great language, especialy if you like literature, i think we have the best authors like Balzac, Rimbaud, Hugo etc (no hating please

I want to emigrate there just to spite Sweden now

I lived in France for 4 years and then 1 year in Guiana. I learned to understand French but never to speak it properly. Difficult as hell.
