Hey guys,

I'll be in West Palm Beach doing my consultation with Paley, and I'll be staying at the Homewood Suites.

If there's any current LL patient there or in the area who I could meet up with, please let me know!

If anyone has any questions for Paley, please reply to this thread and I'll do my best to ask everything reasonable.

Thanks,
DragonTurtle

First thing is first, so I can better frame my own questions to Paley, what is your current plan of action? Tibia or Femurs? How much?

After the nails come out, what is left inside the bone?  Does any type of tissue regrow in there?

Q1: If my goal is to lengthen 6 CM on Femur and 5 CM on Tibia, What is the recommended minimum gap between the surgeries if I don't wanna do quadrilateral and don't wanna wait until one nail's out either?

I ask this question because I've read you can't lengthen beyond 9 to10 CM with 2 nails in your legs at the same time.

Q2: Is it, in Paley's opinion, okay to lengthen Humerus right after Femur once you are fully weight-bearing(say 4 to 6 Months post surgery)  and how's lengthening Humerus effect one's weight-lifting capabilities?

Well considering everything the only real thing I would ask of you to ask Paley for my own couriosity would be what he thinks about proportions in some respect. Does he advice based on how one might look with a given amount on their bodies? The questions MDOW and SAS asked were good.

I might have some other questions but for now I'm just tired given what happen December 7.

Hey man,

Ask about long-term complications. E.g. Arthritis, osteoporosis in the union site, etc.
