I payed around that muche just for surgery.
Just as a suggestion, I’ve met some international patients who stayed in Italy for the whole treatment period and had a package of around €20k, including care and accommodation.

How often did you have appointments with Dr Pili during lengthening and after lengthening? Did you get proper tibia and fibula alignment in the end?

Yes, I have perfect alignment and my function is also excellent. I started running a bit later than I expected. In fact, it took me at least 15 months following my surgery before I could really run, so if you're considering this procedure, keep that in mind. I don't remember exactly how many times I saw Dr. Pili, but I think it was about once a month. If I had any minor issues, he always provided advice personally or through his secretary or team.

Did you do tibia or femur? I can see above you mentioned you did femur

I did both the femur and tibia: first the tibia with external fixators, then the femur with Precice II, and I am satisfied with the results and feel I made the right choice.

Nice. Did you get a discounted price for the second lengthening?

He gave me a good price because of that. Ask him, though! He is very approachable

I stayed home and travelled for consultations.
For Physio I spent around 1500€ for the full treatment.
I understan he has a good full package also, ask him
